We have extended the range of plant stock we can offer and are delighted to be able to say that over 80% of our plant, tree and shrub stock is sourced from within a 25 mile radius of Vincent's, helping to reduce the carbon footprint. We have secured supplies of some of the more unusual varieties of perennials and shrubs at very competitive prices.
 
Primroses, primulas and pansies continue to provide some spring colour as we await the arrival of our summer bedding. Sourced from both large and small growers our summer bedding stock should be available within the next 6-8 weeks. It may be available earlier but at Vincents we tend to follow the traditional ideas of not planting bedding out too soon, particularly if you want it to bloom at it's best and last the whole summer, without being affected in the early part of the year by the unpredictable British weather.
 
We will also be stocking a wide variety of vegetables, including seed potatoes and onion sets available in the early part of the year plus spring onions, lettuce, cabbage, spinach, courgettes, aubergines, cucumber and tomatoes available a little later.
 
To compliment the idea of home grown fruit and vegetables, we have extended our range of organic compost and feeds and are also pleased to be stocking a wider variety of environmentally friendly pest and weed killers.
 
Hanging baskets, troughs and planters can be made to specific customer requirements, so feel free to call in and use our expertise or just come and ask our advise and have a go yourself!
